Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/8175553.stm

Sounds as though someone was doing their job.
  2. If it is deemed a 'terror arrest' can one assume the suspect was non-white?

    Just a thought
  3. If by Southwest England they mean janner then no.
  4. Why do you have to be non-white to be a terrorist?
  5. The criteria for reporting someone as a terrorism suspect are pretty broad, the posters on the tube in London identify:

    Uses a camera
    Uses a phone
    Carries luggage
  6. Whoops - that sounds like me then - where do I go to turn myself in?
  7. I'm sure if he had been spotted doing somethiing like that near a US Military Establishment he would have been "slotted"
  8. That will teach the Sun's journos...... Hope s/he gets a long sentence in one of the colonies. America perhaps? ;)
  9. Money on it's some ex sad ex Whaley rating capturing pics of his old establishment.

Pleb probably never thought about informing gate staff in the present climate of suspicion and threat.
