    Our client is one of the UK’s leading support services companies. They deliver many key services including design, build, manage, operate and maintaining assets, supplying customers in a wide variety of industry sectors including Aerospace, Training, Defence, Marine, Naval and MoD. They now require a Technical Officer (Assets) to join their team at their site in Chatham. The successful candidate will be required in the surveying, design and build of a project, and to ensure it meets Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards in direct support to the Contract and Asset Manager, the overall management of asset maintenance and making sure that all building plans and specifications are followed.

    Applicant Requirements:
    • The applicant will ideally be qualified to HND / HNC level in a Mechanical / Electrical discipline and have a good knowledge of relevant techniques and processes including project planning.
    • Membership of Recognised Institution (CIOB, RICS, ICE, IMechE, CIBSE).
    • Previous working knowledge of the procurement of sub-contracted services including written specifications and basic design (M&E services).
    • Strong understanding of Business Information Management Systems.
    • Ability to calculate costs for the measurement of materials, labour and standards of asset management works.
    • Sound knowledge of Building Regulations.
