A question for those of you who out-jack me.

Regarding coffee, a Whoopi Goldberg is served black with no sugar. A Julie Andrews is served with milk and no sugar, from their Nunnery exploits. NATO Standard is milk and 2.

Are there phrases for the intervening milk and sugar variables?

Politically incorrect on many levels, of course, but I seem to remember a "White, One" became known as a "Nancy Reagan" after she elected to have a mastectomy rather than have a lump removed from her breast.

You for coffee; I prefer tea.

(Say it aloud but slowly, doc...)

I remember, as a junior seaman (a lifetime ago) on exped, being told, by a colour sergeant RM, that coffee should be as black as night, as hot as hell and as sweet as sin and that's the way I drink it.
