  1. A friend of mine may be getting a suspended custodial sentence he's in the rn atm and due to go on killicks course next month any one know what the protocol for this is? Will he get kicked off course, kicked out entirely or get to go on course but have a year carreer check?

    This is a divisional issue and will undoubtedly have a consequential effect on his future career. Rather than speculate what may or may not happen, he's best off getting it straight from his Divisional Officer in consultation with the Fleet Legal people.

    For a civilian intending to join the service, the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act interprets a suspended custodial sentence exactly the same as an actual custodial sentence.
