I'm still reading the book, but haven't got that far yet. are you mentioned personally I'm the book? I'm afraid that I've been rather distracted by Dasboot series 1-3If you read the book, the chapter about the longest trail carried out by a Swiftsure class boat, HMS Sovereign, Operation Agile Eagle, is a patrol I was on....my one claim to fame

No mention of me, I was a mere slip of a lad, aged 21, free, single and enjoying lifeI'm still reading the book, but haven't got that far yet. are you mentioned personally I'm the book? I'm afraid that I've been rather distracted by Dasboot series 1-3. I'm surprised that a similar series hasn't been made about UK submarines or US. Lots of subject matter, I'm sure

The difference you will find between the US and UK submarine service. The Yanks have to shout about it. I'm sure you have enough subject matter to make several series of tv drama WaspieThe difference you will find between the US and UK submarine service. The Yanks have to shout about it. The Uk just does it!!
Remember giving a lecture about a new propulsion system fitted to one of our boats. We, My fellow aircrewman and I), went to Faslane for a briefing so we could then pass the info to our flight crews.
The briefing started by the CO standing up and declaring the lecture was UK eyes only. The German and Canadian crews left. The Yanks remained. (For a second). The CO then asked the MOD Police to escort the Yanks out of the briefing room. UK Eyes Only means just that!! Even the Yanks weren't privy to our lil ole secrets!!!
True dit!
