Met a few three badge men during my time. They were extremely useful guys to have around. Normally they managed to get a job as chiefs messman or a stores billet. most of them had a lot of knowledge and knew all the fiddles. They were happy and content doing their own thing, did not want the responsibility of a rate on their arm but an asset to most sections

If you enlarge the photograph and look to the left of his top stripe, you can see a ribbon, or possibly dolphins - which would put Wrecks back in the frame. :)
