Stocks and shares.

Stocks and shares are not my cup of tea. However, I think the markets will crash as the government sets about tackling the budget deficit.

In the grand scheme of thing, the stock market may be the least of our worries.

Bought into Dragon Oil in the late 90's, on a buzz. Took 10+ years but my £100 odd pound investment made me £1000+ when I sold this year. Bought back in again when the dropped and they are now on the way back up.

I seem to remember Norwaychris advising to buy some shares a while back. Anyone got the link, I want to see if I would be been a millionaire?

If anyone has any substantial amount of cash, I'd recommend Treasury Gilts. Fixed period investment, but guaranteed return.

Sadly, anyone with a pension invests in the Stock Market; one just needs to hope that the fund managers can keep it together.
Ha!!! Fund Managers.

The one thing I learned working for a bank was that Fund Managers get paid shed loads to **** up other peoples hard earned.

Investing is for the few that can afford to loose money.

Share prices may plummet as well as fall!!!!!
