Steve Irwin R.I.P

At least if they showed it we'd be able to see whether or not he'd been prodding it with sticks and generally bothering it before it got a sad-on and stabbed him.

The loss of Steve Irwin in Australia has been given a lot of publicity throughout the world, some may think too much. However, after his family declined a state funeral a ceremony at his zoo was televised in Australia and although death is everyday news it was wonderful and moving to witness such a deep and sincere expression of public grief.
Would be difficult I believe not to share or feel such a depth of emotion when his dad and daughter spoke and it was all so genuine. No doubt the sadness will disperse with time but he will stay as a well loved national figure for many years I reckon

RIP Crikey
