Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. DO SR'S WEARING SHORT SLEEVE WHITE SHIRTS WITH JUMPERS HAVE TO WEAR THEIR COLLARS IN OR OUT? HEATED ARGUEMENT AND NAVY POSTER ONLY SHOWS JR'S.

  2. one out one in

  3. one out all out

  4. Either, preferred mine out (fnarr fnarr)

  5. ahhhhhh the age old inny v outtie debate

  6. I can remember being a Collingwood about 5 years ago and the Commodore bannned the wearing of wooly pullies with short sleeved shirts. If you think about it, why would you wear a short sleeved shirt if its farking cold in the first place?!?!

  7. Collars out, if you read the regs. But no one seems to do that now , they just look at the pictures.

  8. And here are the pictures on the RN website.

    In, with tie.

  10. Up when the King is on the radio!!

  11. What do you know about wearing a tie? Scruffbag

  12. JHF

Also a bell ring for the last one to put his collar up was a mess rule when Elvis came on the stereo.

    Happy days,

Just because you only use ties to restrain your unsuspecting victims to your bedposts, before you abuse them like the bearded plumber from Leeds that you so obviously are!! 8O
