I am applying for warfare in the hope that I'll be able to specialise as an HMO one day (I know that there are no guarantees etc, but would be nice if I can at some point). But have read somewhere that everyone who is currently doing that job wears sandals and socks, etc etc...(can imagine the sort from my uni days!). Just wondering, is it the sort of job that is really hard to get into cos these guys keep it for 20 odd years? It's not going to affect my application in any way but would like to prepare myself if it's not going to happen. Would be good to hear from anyone who works as or with these guys, thanks!
