Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I don't know if any of you knew dt018a9667 (i don't think i'm allowed to use proper names here )
I was very sad to hear that he passed away a few weeks ago.
I met him in North Lock in Devonport and worked with him for a few years. He spent many hours spinning dits about his service life, especially Ganges. I know he served on the Ark and Bacchante in the 70's.
If any of you guys want to contact me, my e-mail address is :- [email protected]
  2. RIP shippers.
  3. I'm very sorry to hear this. Dt was indeed great at spinning dits, especially about the G Spot and was a valued contributor to this site. He was the first person here to confess to being scared of hights and how unfortunate this was when confronted by 143ft of the dreaded Mast at Ganges. I shall miss him sorely.

Incidentally I should like to know his real name.
  4. I don't think there are any problems with names once someone has passed away.

    RIP dt018a9667
  5. R.I.P. dt......always sad to lose a shipmate.
