Interesting, so Squaddie has been on the trot for last 2 1/2 years then, why does he now decide he's an objector and not just a deserter, could have slapped his notice in when returning from Afghanistan and never have had to go back, instead he chose to go on the run. Sorry he has lost any small ammount of sympathy he might have got from me at this point.

Seadog, I think you are getting a bit paranoid about the press, IF they were going to trawl the sites looking for a quote or two I think they would start with ARRSE, it being a Army site rather than a Navy one.

I have just got to Page 5 of 10 pages of posts in the ARRSE thread, and have seen no sign of the kind of mederation you prefere to wield, and the comments in gerneral are every bit as robust if not more so than those in this thread. The phot of the L/Cpl Joe Glenton with a white feather and a target on his forhead sums up the gerneral feeling on ARRSE

PINCH and mikh and anyone else who doesn't get it. The very reason the thread is still on display and open is because other than a few earlier chops posters have steered clear of the kind of comments that get Courts Martial threads locked or binned, by mods or admin (the owners). I haven't read the ARRSE posts, maybe the posts don't fall foul of site rules or maybe no mods have looked in yet. There is life outside the internet.

ARRSE is more quotable but RR (Slim and others) have been quoted in the press already. Good CO has been interviewed by the police recently in relation to what is (was) on the site. You, we are not anonymous.
