  5. Probably 'New Navy' Speak.

Awaiting bites and incoming, standing by.
  6. Are sure it's not uckers u f@*ckers but been cleaned up a bit? :D

    editted for mong spelling DOH!
  7. Skippers _Shippers
  8. In which context are you hearing this?
  9. Surely it's Shuckers Muckers.
  10. Shukkers as in Shukkran - Arabic for thank you
    Shippers as in Shipmate i.e.

    Thanks mate.....

    Will that do ?
  11. Thats got to be it. Cheers Dicky.
  12. Im not sure that Polari was of matelot origin?Any way hows your Nanty rire and thews and to forgetting your lallies? How bona to varda your eek:D :D
  13. Found this.......and have no idea what it means....

As feely homies, we would zhoosh our riahs, powder our eeks, climb into our bona new drag, don our batts and troll off to some bona bijou bar

Does that mean Polari(s), is lots of them?? ;-))

Maybe 'Shippers' is a Noobie for 'Shipmate', which is an RNA term of address?
  14. Andy and 21, it so good to know that someone on RR understands the lingo. It's all Hindi to me.
  15. To Gillyfish: My pleasure mate...
  16. The use of shuckers obviously comes from our current deployments in arabic speaking countries. After the H boats did the equatorial surveys, the portugese version was obbers cobbers.

  17. You need to listen to more "Round the Horne" on BBC7 especially the Julian & Sandy sketches.
