    The Stanlow Manafacturing Complex, based in Cheshire has origins dating back to 1924. The refinery has grwon over the years in size and sophistication now housing a fluid catalytic cracker, alkylation unit, platformer and hydrodessulpherisation plant. The downstream operation is where crude oil is transformed in to petroleum products and petrochemicals. Stanlow itself processes around 12 million tonnes of crude oil a year.
    We are currently recruiting for two senior Electrical Project Engineers to join the Engineering Technical Assurance Team in Stanlow. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Team Leader you will provide Electrical Engineering expertise to internal and external project groups, making sure that any work undertaken meets industry standards and Shell's stringent regulations.
    You will:
    Provide electrical engineering design and engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance, (EPCM) support for all electrical projects and plant changes.
    Impart specialist engineering technical support and advice in specifying appropriate maintenance, inspection, and reliable activities.
    Assist with long-term planning, identifying and resolving issues re the electrical infastructure
    Provide input to site standards and procedures, electrical safety rules, guidance notes and the electrical permit to work system
    Ideally you will have a degree or similar in electrical engineering, perhaps be a chartered engineer. You will above all have extensive electrical engineering experience within a petrochemical or similar heavy industry. You will also have experience of working with voltage levels up to 33 kv, hazdrous area management and international standards would also be a bonus.  We will also be looking for exposure and training in HSE related aspects in an industrial electrical discipline environment.  BASIC SALARY £45-£50K PER ANNUM.
