Selection and joining from RNR?

#1
I have after a few months consideration decided I would be much better off in the RMR than in the RNR. My unit has just lost it's last PT instructor meaning we no longer get any PT and my branch training has been put on hold for a year after my DO forgot to hand in my paperwork.

Most RNR branches are pretty dull and I want a challenge and to deploy so this seems like it. Anyone know if Cambridge has a holding troop or when London will be holding it's next selection weekend as I'm 27 now and want to get moving? Also will I have to go through the medical and the RN 'are you to thick to be alive' apptitude tests again?

Cheers.

Recruiting Test = Seems quite possible.

(RM minimum scores have been increased in Mechanical Comprehension, but happily not literacy.)

Medical = Not unless under 18, over age 30.

PJFT = Yes

Interview= Yes

Security Clearance = No
