Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. recruit test done and pretty much owned it. Looking forward to getting to sea. What comes next for me? If anyone could help me out with any advice/information?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. What do you wanna know?

  3. Well done mate. Long road ahead though. I was about a year and a half from applying to actually starting at Raleigh.

  4. Application form, recruit test, interview sift (can take time for this to come up), interview, conditional offer then formal offer. I'm currently at the interview stage personally (applied originally in February and my interview is in August). I phoned recruitment to find out if successful when the job would start and it will be January so, you're looking around a year from start to finish but, I've heard it done sooner if you touch lucky with the time of the interview sift for your chosen career (ie, Seaman Apprentice for yourself).

Hope this is of help. Best of luck.
