Scilly Today: "Islands May Get Official Navy Visit This Summer"

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. "In March 2011 St Mary’s was the last, brief port of call for a type 22 frigate, HMS Campbeltown, before being decommissioned in Plymouth. Islander Ned Rogers, who was a lieutenant with the Royal Navy arranged for 180 pasties to be delivered to the ship."

    The pasties were great!
We also anchored off in St Mary's Roads during the Gig World Championships in 2010.
  2. I visited the Scilly Isles in 1986 with two seasick kids, a seasick war office and about thirty other dirty buggers throwing up all over the place.
One poxy cafe full of tea drinking numpties, denying me my fry up and then back to Penzance.
    What a Big day out.
