Schoolgirl wants to be round the world sailor

Good luck to this "spunky" young girl,dont think i would be happy if my 16 yr old daughter was sailing single handed around the world,i just wouldnt stop worrying,

I think this 'youngest' trick is getting a bit out of hand. A 13 year old girl has jusxt been made a ward of court because her parents were allowing her to try the same.

I saw it on the news and i have to agree that its far too young even though she was born and raised on a boat,

It tells you all you need to know when after coming very close to disaster she wants to shrug it off and keep on trying.An older wiser person would be chastened by the event and would be wondering if the potential loss of ones life was worth the risk.It all boils down to wanting your 15 minutes of fame and hopefuly plenty of bucks for film rights and the inevitable book.Good luck to her but if I were a sponsor I may be looking for the get out clause.
