  1. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post these, but here are a selection of my phots from my recent cruise to Spitsbergen (& Northern Norway). If you want somewhere interesting to go in July/August, why not enjoy the icy Arctic weather (actually the coldest day it was around -1C but that included wind chill - I wore shorts and polo shirt in Ny Alesund!)

    I remember being in Tromso, it was rather warm during the day but bloody freezing at night! But you couldn't fault seeing the northern lights at night, amazing!
