A favour please. I've been asked to help a French artist (I know - they smell funny and they keep surrendering, but a little help would be handy).

He's contacted me via my Falklands pages, and he's been commissioned to produce some artwork for the missile manufacturer MBDA, namely the Wasp attack on Santa Fe using AS12 missiles. I know that Plymouth's and Antrim's helos were involved, but it was Endurance's Wasp who did the dirty on the boat.

A rough draft of his artwork is shown below.

He is looking for photos of the general scene to help with colour, and markings on the wasp.

Hope you can help.

Always thought that the AS12 /SS11 were produced by Norde Aviation when i fired mine ? theirs a good picture of one being/ launched off from Chesil Beach showing the wires being trailed from the Wasp and the AS12 starting to sag towards the target out to sea. :thumright:
