Rudyard Lake.

That's a nice article, Stirling.

I have fond memories of Rudyard Lake, as my late father was a keen angler and it was one of the lakes we would go to for the fishing.

He would take this big tin of brightly coloured wriggly umm bait with him and I had no problems with attaching them to the hook for him.

Not sure I could do that for anyone now!

I have fond memories of Rudyard. Fished it for Pike in the ,'90's. When I get across the pond visiting with friends in Congleton, I make a point on taking whoever's dog is so inclined for a walk round it. Just one of England's litte gems.
