Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Oo the Daily Mail has put RR in the paper!

Headlined "Colleagues unleash their barrage of contempt on the internet"

Warmonger, Slacky, Curious Civvie, Slacky, Silver Fox, Squirrel and Slim all get a mention.

  6. Thanks SM. Yep they shouldn't have. Sorry where's the MoD again?????

  7. As the politicos hoped the tabloids are still going for Jack and Jill rather than the people who hung them out to dry

The Torygraph refers to RR and Arrse too, but no citations of who said what.

  9. Anyone notice that most of the comments are from ARRSE rather than RR, would that be because although everyone here has had their say, the bods on ARRSE seem to have been rather more vitriolic in their anger ?

  10. It will be intresting to see if membership goes up over the next few days or not....

  11. NOTE TO SELF: Must try harder!!!

  12. Not locking this thread for now, however, after those lovely Journo's have cared to scrap both sites for comments, please just be careful in posting from now on.

  13. Must try WHAT harder Andy? 8O :D

  14. To make the Papers. :D :D :D :D

  15. Do the site owners own copyright to comments posted. if so they should hit the relevant newspapers who are using quotations from the site for a substantial donation, or even an Ipod or two

  16. Can I have your autograph, sir? :D :D :D

  17. Slim,

I would hope the ownership rests with the author as his or her own intellectual property. Interesting that over 40% of the members of RR have never posted even one post.
