  2. My gut feeling says Blyth, a significant naval port in the past. What was he serving in at the time?

  4. I dont know the date.He joined as a boy 1925 did his 12 finished 11/08/39 his birthday.Tried to re-sign when war broke out but was only offered half pension.Kept himself out till 1941 demobbed 1946.
    pre war,FURIOUS,BARHAM,PENZANCE,COLNE,BIRMINGHAM.War included PEMBROKE,COCHRANE,TYNE,ROWLEY(MURMANSK RUN).
