  1. Hi all. I need some clarification regarding having Asthma and joining the Royal Navy. I have mild Asthma, I have never had a Asthma attack or been admitted to hospital, I do use an inhaler (when I have a cold etc) i do loads of sport and I really don't want this to stop me having a career in the military. Looking on many other websites some people say it reviewed case by case. If any one can held or give me some advise that would be great.

    Many Thanks

You must be 4 years clear of prescription of an inhaler... Unfortunately

No-one suggested it does. Candidates must be four years clear of inhaler prescriptions.
