Well done to Terry Gillard. One of those quality Sea Cadet Officers who is in it for the kids/younger staff members - many people have learnt a lot of good life lessons from him.

I think my well deserved OBE is being held until Summer.

The Plymouth Herald strikes again (link). Unbelievable. Plymouth is a Naval city, one of the biggest employers (if not the biggest) is the Dockyard, and local journos still struggle with deciding if someone is in the RN or the Army.

Couldn't agree more. Don't usually get all Angry of Torpoint but the reporting in the Herald is shocking, all the more so for a 'garrison' city. At least there appears to be a lull in reports of 'The' HMS Massive/Nonsuch etc. but sure normal service will be resumed soon.
