This October and November, Hovis is teaming up with The Royal British Legion and the annual Poppy Appeal in a bid to raise £100,000 to support British heroes and the Armed Forces. Proceeds from every pack of Hovis Seed Sensations bread and rolls sold between 15 October and 15 November will go towards this very worthwhile cause. So look out for the specially marked "poppy" packs:

    More here and here.

  2. Better get some butter in!
  3. Perhaps Father Famine or another Chef can russle up a naval bread and butter pud using Hovis seedy stuff as the second main ingredient before the butter and after the RUM!

Master Pusserchef, you have the following ingredients:

    Loaf of Hovis seedy stuff
    Pint milk
    half pint cream
    Litre of dark rum
    Brown sugar
    Vanilla pod
  4. I have six slices of this stuff a day, it is yummy so no excuses shipmates.

Ssshh! Don't let Father Famine hear about it - you're only entitled to have two slices. And only at breakfast (if you've had the Morning...)
