  1. This may seem silly ,but the roughest sea i was in was the Pentland Firth on HMS Eagle,weather decks and flight deck out of bounds,all the carley? floats were washed away and all the seaboats damaged,Even damage to the front of the flight deck.Now being a wafu and only serving on carriers, we would stand on the flight deck in roughish weather and look at the poor barstads on some little frigate whose front end would disappear under the waves, and wonder if it would come up again,im sure there are tales out there,anyone got any scary ones?

  4. Try the gallery have put two photos of a Leander on it, taken by the way from the old Ark in the seventies.
    Think it was in the med. You might to note that the wafus are still working looks like a bit of a con to me i.e. high speed into a sea would get this result. Still spectacular though.
