RNR Questions

I'm 17 and currently doing my A-Levels. I've decided that I would like to join the RN after I finish my A levels, so I can be sure that once (if) I leave I can maybe do a degree/or/get a job. I don't fancy waiting around and i'd love to get stuck in now, so i'm considering the RNR. I live close to HMS Eaglet, but will I be travelling alot in the RNR, do I choose what days I can train at, what do I do once i've finished my 24 day minimum (can I ask for more?), do the RNR get any "fast tracks" into the FTRN?

Might be stupid questions but thanks
