Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. IS THERE A ROYAL NAVY RESERVE CLEARANCE DIVER UNIT?

IF SO WHERE IS IT BASED?

  2. NOT THAT I KNOW OF THOUGH I HAVE SEEN RESERVISTS WITH DIVER ADQUALS ON THEIR RIGHT ARM.

  3. Whats up with you and the caps key ex-para? No need, we ain't deaf just have selective hearing

  4. I DONT SEE WHAT DIFFERENCE IT MAKES, SAVES ME ******* ABOUT WITH THE SHIFT KEY.

  5. Ha ha ha !! :D :D :D

  6. My experience of the RNR is a bit out of date, but there used to be a RNR Diver Branch (I believe a bit like Ship's Divers), with many of the Training Units around the country having some. Unfortionatly this branch was binned in the early/mid 1990s, just before the River Class MSFs and P2000s were taken away.

  7. Correct ish

There are RNR MCDs but they are all ex-RN.
