Well the people who have posted here about the subject seemed to think that it gave them a great insight and provided an invaluable aid to their decision making...
Apparently it does work.

I think it's a cracking idea. A lot of the problems that were happening in Phase 1 and 2 training, and at sea, were down to recruits not knowing what sort of life they would be facing in the RN.

RNAC gives them an intro to the RN, a ship visit, kit upkeep, physical stuff and parade training. Apparently those attending RNAC are a lot less likely to PVR.
Some people at our RNAC didn't like even that. The RN won't have to spend any more money on them. It's one more filter to get only the most determined into the mob.
