RNAC HMS Collingwood - New Course???

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I have been given my entry date into HMS Raleigh which is 18th March 2012...

I have already been on the RNAC course at Collinwood....

I had a call from the AFCO this week, stating that there is a new course running which is again is 4 days but more intense including more fitness and interviews and is a PASS/FAIL course and I got the impression that if you didnt pass your application would not be continued...

Has anyone already completed this course or has more details?

    Cheers

  2. It's pretty new and for anyone with a starting date after the new year. From what I've heard from my AFCO, it's pretty much the same but you're graded on what you do. From your swimming test and PJFT to your attitude and ability to overcome the comfort zone. I'm in exactly the same boat as you though. Same HMS Raleigh entrance date. Got the lovely pleasure of going to HMS Collingwood in October.

  3. I went to Collingwood last October for the RNAC it was fine. Is this then your going to this 'new' course??
