Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. No mention of the rest of the Aircrew/Aircrewman Jane???? LT/CDR Daw, would have had to be the "Ace of the Base" To Fly/ Nav and Winch
  2. I guess he's just multi-talented, Scouse!
  3. 771 must be short on news to post this one.

Routine stuff I would have thought for the premier SAR unit!!!!!

Now if the Spanish sailor had a traumatic amputation and several sever lacerations and the flight involved an in flight diplomatic clearance in horrendous conditions at the limit of the aircrafts range with no paramedic!!!! THEN maybe that would be worthy of a ditty in the news.

But then I did that way back and it wasn't news worthy either!!!!!
  4. Not their fault. It's quite noisy in a Sea King and by the time they heard him speak it would have been too late to chuck him back.
  5. Maybe one of yours DOUG?? http://www.eacott.com.au/gallery/v/navy_photos/sea_king/
  6. Nah, piccy taker obviously never served on 819!!!!

Although page 5, 'UC in SK Mk2' looks like the legendary John Charnley.

One of mine!!! hardly SAR though!!!!
