I cant find it, what was it about?
Jolly Jack is back in the Shatt al-Arab.

Ipods are banned.

White flags in the ready use locker.

Fat Jennies can no longer be Cox'n.

Force protection helicopter has to protect the force; not go away swanning.

Inside leg measurements are to be passed to the Ayatollahs well in advance so the 'after capture' suits are better fitting.

AND THE SEPTICS ARE PROVIDING REAL FORCE PROTECTION FOR THE ROYAL NAVY.

No wonder everyone on ARRSE is in laughing your bollocks off mode. :thumright:

But now the team is permanently flanked by heavily armoured US Navy gunboats and shadowed by a helicopter. Despite the Royal Navy's insistence that the capture on 23 March was about "judgement not kit", the "soft hat" stance of which the British are so proud has been tempered with beefed-up force protection.
Right, so publicly the Navy is blaming the Officers on the dhow who made the right, in my view decision, on the basis that they were outgunned and outnumbered, miles away from support.

So if it wasn't the equipment, why is the right equipment now being provided, albeit by Americans.

Nice to see, the British MoD can afford, without US realiance, adequate protection for the British Royal Navy! Who says we aren't underfunded!

Fantastic - not only did we embarrass ourselves before, but now we're admitting we can't do our job at all without the help of the USN, and when things get tough we hand directly over to them. Fantastic.
