RN or RFA?

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering BTEC and will finish in Summer 2013,
my careers advisor has said that i could either continue my AET application and would start Raliegh at the end of 2013 ish. he also told me i could finish my course and change my application to Warefare Officer. Also i am interested in joining the RFA and cannot decide which to choose, obviously Warefare officer is the easy answer but i dont know if a) i would like it or b) i could pass AIB.
    Any comments would be welcome
    Cheers, Harry

  2. Not too sure what a Warefare Officer does. With an interest in Aerospace, AET would seem to be logical progression.

  3. Or knock your course up to a BEng and become an Air Engineer Officer.

Some shout they prefer the taste, but we all know they wished they had gone full fat.
