  1. Hi
New to this forum, new to the whole thing in fact! Recently decided to go into the RMR, read all the info, called everyone up, arranged times and dates, now i'm wondering if I'm doing enough training. Considered myself quite fit, run 3 miles nearly every morning, do a circuit v. similiar to the sample one found here (http://www.royalmarines.mod.uk/training-and-fitness/training-tool.php) every night with a couple of "rest days" every week. Started doing additional cycling twice a week (4-5 miles) just in case. Am I ready? What should I work on for one of the toughest courses a reservist can do? I'm committed inside my head but not 100% about physical capabilities, especially upper body strength.

Any comments from someone who's done it all before, or similiar would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

  2. Hi mate.

Was a trained rank in the 90's hence my user name on here. There is loads of information available in the RMR forum that should whet your appetite for the time being regarding fitness levels.
