  1. Just heard the sad news about Seve. That man had a magical touch around the green. He was only 54. Should have been playing on the Seniors Tour. He will be sadly missed by golfers all round the world. RIP.

  2. Yes sad news of the loss of a legend on the courses. I loved watching him play. RIP Seve

  3. A true legend of the game, RIP Seve

  4. RIP Seve - a great golfer, a great Cantabrian and a great man

  5. I lived in Lytham St Annes for 17 years and my house was adjacent to the course[got it cheap when the market was down] I watched him a lot and he was magical with any club, more's to the point he always had time for the public, kids with photo's of them and a lot more.
A bit later I saw a lot of the so called super star golfers who wouldn't give anyone even kids the time of day even on practice days.
I will miss seeing him on the course again,a great golfer and a fine man.RIP

  6. A true sportsman a humble guy who had time for all a gentleman RIP Seve

  7. I truly hate golf.

That said, you cannot take away the fact Seve was one of the characters of the sport and his name will be forever remembered as being one of the worlds best players in his day.

RIP, I'm sure there will be 19 holes wherever you are now.

  8. A Gentleman. RIP
