I'm looking at Engineering Technician, Communication Specialist, Hydrography and Meteorology Officer and Survival Equipment Technician and Logistics so at least you have narrowed it down more than I have.

Clover

Which subjects are your A Levels in?

I'm going on what I know. I'm a computer engineer by trade and have a degree in cyber security. I prefer working hands on than desk work though

I wonder whether there might be an opportunity for you as a Weapon Engineer Officer. This might offer the chance to do an MSc in Cyber Defence Information, which could build on your existing skills.

I'm torn between weapons engineers or Cryptologic Technician I know i could do both.. got a long way to go before I'm fit enough though. I'm 29 now and aiming to be done training before I'm 31

My A levels were History, Geography and English Literature. Oh and General studies which counts for nothing.

I'm not sure that you will be able to include Hydrography and Meteorology Officer on your list, Clover:

"UCAS points must include one AS Level Maths or Physical Science subject."

Thank you not sure if Geography counts as a science. I am leaning more towards Engineering and have requested more information on the different roles

My NSRT because it took so long to arrange they accepted my GCSE results instead which is good. I decided to go with the RFA in the end thank you all for your help and hopefully I can start a new career.
