Something I would say, Clover, is to be aware of the age limits for applications to the Royal Navy and the RFA.
The limit for the RN roles I have suggested is 39 - if you don't get into one of those now, they won't be an option later. The RFA roles have no upper limit (technically) and may be an option for you if you wished to look at them towards the end of your Naval career.
