Rejoining and CIS Branch

I was in the RNR (not URNU) for a while when at University 6-7 years ago and have since graduated, married etc etc.

Can anyone tell me whether it is acceptable to rejoin the RNR if you have previously served in it and if so do you have to do the NE course again (not a problem if you do, just wondering).

Also, does anyone have any more information about the CIS Branch, the information of the website is quite limited.

Rejoining will not be a problem providing your reasons for leaving were above board! Unfortunatley you will have to complete the NE course AND Raleigh again as you have been out longer than 5 Years. (Unless you were an Officer, in that case I'm not sure how it works exactly) As for CIS-sorry haven't a clue.
