Will be re-joining Her Majesty's Fleet as Fishery Protection Vessels when we leave the EU following, what looks like, the end of the RNR etc. Remembering, of course, that our Ministers of Defence comprise solely of BrownJobs. The army are off to Mali-- A French responsibility--Why? What has it got to do with us?

I thought that these were the Uni. training vessels, nothing to do with the RNR?

Correct Janner - I smell a 'Norman'

The RNR these days (I am am sure they will be on to confirm the truth) back up Fleet manpower - the days of them manning entire ships (Tons) are long gone I think

and it's not 'the end of the RNR' they have been paused for a year to make savings, standfast those supporting the Fleet

So once again he is talking bollocks

Your days of attempting to appear war-like wearing an Armed Forces uniform without the need to actually join the Armed Forces are approaching. Weekend" jollies" for you will ,come to an end on the glorious First of January2021 Like it or not!

Not Norman - unless he has twigged how we know that.

But the MO is certainly similar.

I fear you are wrong. The Army being the largest now tells us what to do.. Rightly or wrongly they see future wars being far removed from the sea.
Are they confused?

Confused? No more than you my good man.....
Perhaps when you have ceased resorting to supercilliousness you will take note of the future of the Royal Navy at the hands of a vastly superior Army MOD
We have few, rather inferior Admirals in the Army's eyes so far as I can see. We are outnumbered and at their hands we will see our demise apart from in a Fisheries Protection Coastal Waters role.
I hope I'm wrong. But fear not.

I didn’t think we had Admirals in the Army??
I’ve only been out 12 too.

P2000 are nowt to do with the RNR - RNR current remit it supplement crews on the OPVs. This task remains, despite the announcement in the Telegraph this morning.

There is still a number of questions to be sorted regarding RNR training, and I have no intention of commenting here.

Sounds like Norman is inventing scenarios after reading the Telegraph!
