    The japs couldn't make it to France so they had a bike race thru Malaya to Singapore.
  9. Lt Cdr Walter 'Pedaller' Raleigh RN (wearing the white jersey he was awarded for winning the underwater leg) with his trusty Pusser's Red.

    Sadly, he failed to finish owing to a trouser legs problem when his bicycle clips failed during the final stretch. (You probably have to be a sundodger to appreciate this.)
  10. Enraged at losing their yellow jerseys J_D and Taloolah decide to continue their Tour de France a la commando.


    (Their saddles were later auctioned, raising a considerable sum for charidee.)
