Is Raleigh to become the new Britannia?

Remembering 1970's Ganges in its dying days when it was kept alive with Iranian Navy Personnel
The Shotley Peninsula was crawling with some 600 Iranian sailors arm in arm with their mini skirted girl friends.
Is Raleigh following suit? Soliciting Dartmouth? The Egyptian navy perhaps? The Libyans? Well any one with fully convertible currency. Piastres/ Shekels? Dinars? Are theTorpoint souks open for business?

Admiral Habibollah Sayyari who is a close friend of mine recently took command of all Naval training at HMS Raleigh. Work is in place to asset strip and move all training to the Iman Khomeini University.

You'll be pleased to know that in tandem with this move, Kharg Island will become home to long defunct and mentally deteriorating former Naval ratings and Officers. The caveat is it is only open to those who have an alarmingly persistent habit of dribbling piss down the front of their trousers whilst typing large amounts of babbling horseshit on unofficial Naval forums.

Here they will be exposed to a lengthy trial of having their malformed, aged jowls ripped backward over their heads and the exposed skull bone hammered into tiny shards with a burning maul covered in dogshit.

You join next week.

Initial Naval Training MAY be created and MAY replace the Dartmouth 1st term, moving to Raleigh for the 9 weeks akin to what the booties do with officer cadets and recruits doing the same 9 week training, only with OC's expected to do more and be better at it.

Then the OC's would move back to BRNC for their second term.

However, it may just stay the same

Or, it may be something completely different

Or, it could be that.

At least, thats what several of the training staff have said when I asked.

All Rudyard Kipling's Iffish? When it comes down to money -which it will- little else to determine it--Dartmouth will fetch a small fortune in development riches compared to Raleigh. The number crunchers will select Raleigh I fear.

Nope - BRNC is a listed building, with a whole host of problems for a potential developer. Why do you think it's lasted this long!?
A splendid hotel for the Duke of York and his Near Eastern cohorts to wallow in. It has lasted as long as it has because, even in Haro;ld Wilson's day, he had the Colonies to support him financially. No more West Indies sugar Gold Coast Cocoa Northern Rhodesian Copper Malaysian rubber--All gone==Supported since by dodgy finance--That's now seen the light of day--Dartmouth, Sandhurst and Cranwell has the International Property boys salivating.

All Rudyard Kipling's Iffish?...
For those wondering:

"If" by Rudyard Kipling.
If a picture paints a thousand words,
Then why can't I paint you?
The words will never show the you I've come to know.
If a face could launch a thousand ships,
Then where am I to go?
There's no one home but you,
You're all that's left me too.
And when my love for life is running dry,
You come and pour yourself on me.

If a man could be two places at one time,
I'd be with you.
Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way.
If the world should stop revolving spinning slowly down to die,
I'd spend the end with you.
And when the world was through,
Then one by one the stars would all go out,
Then you and I would simply fly away
