BBC News - Military planes in 'near-miss' over Linton-on-Ouse
Nah, it's a spoof.
I've cadged a low level training flight in an RAF Hawk from Chivenor but it sounds as though the two aircraft in question must have been the pair assigned to Naval Flying Standards Flight (fixed wing) at RNAS Yeovilton where they are flown by RN pilots and maintained by Serco engineers. They also act as agents for the Central Flying School (CFS) at RAF Cranwell:Royal Navy Hawk
