War Hero
Radio 4 is offering a dramatisation of Patrick O'Brian's "The Mauritius Command" this weekend and next.
A "Naval epic set in 1809", it's worth listening to, if you like his books or nautical fiction of this type in general.
There is plenty of creaking timber, splashing as the ships forge across the seas and the sound of cannons when they engage the French, which all adds to the atmosphere.

The third episode follows next weekend.
