Questions about my medical

hi guys I have a few concerns I have medical problems but they are just minor I have:
Flat feet: fortunately my feet doesn't ache and I have insoles
I take levothyroxine and losarton these are for my kidneys and thyroid I will probably stop taking the levothyroxine in the near future. These won't affect my performances or anything when asked to perform a task.

Is there a question in there, or are you just introducing yourself? :)

Welcome.

Whilst flat feet are not an automatic bar to entry, complications arising from flat feet can be. Prescribed orthotic insoles are a bar to entry as they indicate a significant medical history. Orthotic insoles bought over the counter are not usually an issue.

The rough rule of thumb is those joining the service must be free from medication however some thyroid conditions (under active) are viewed on a case by case basis. For kidneys, the rough rule of thumb is that one kidney must be fully functional but there are other considerations (again case by case).

Section 4, Annex H in the Joint Service Publication (JSP 950) refers to Thyroid issues.

Section 4 Annex F of JSP 950 covers kidneys.

Good luck!
