The heart of the site is the forum area, including:
How long has anyone had to wait from passing the PJFT to doing the PRNC?
5/6 months for me
PRNC is not linked to passing the PJFT.
Once allocated an entry date, a PRNC will be booked within the six months prior to entry, not before.
You must retake a PJFT it it was not passed within 6 months of attending a PRNC.
So will the AFCO advise of the PRNC and joining date at the same time?
i was given my joining date before my PRNC date, i had to wait about 1 week after getting my start date to get the PRNC date.
and i received my Start date 1 week after completing my PJFT.
Would a larger font assist?
Thanks kennerz94 very helpful. The kind of response I was hoping for.
Yep, it depends on the branch. Those applying for NA(AH), for example, would not expected to hear of an allocated entry date until at least a year after initially passing their first PJFT. The entry date itself, once notified, could still be six or more months further off.
Shortage branches (Chef, ET[ME], Stwd, submariner branches, etc.,) will be notified far sooner.
There's not much point, for those people who don't get the answer they would hope for, getting the hump, rather than getting the reality, I s'pose.
It's all about the branch....♪♬♫♩, ♪♬♫♩, etc.,
A larger font? Are you baptizing him and is he that big a baby?
Separate names with a comma.
