  1. Hello, i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this situation...

I am looking into what happens after BRNC for pilots. I understand that before being a pilot you are initially an officer, so was looking for confirmination of courses officers have to sit after BRNC. I found on other threads "Initial Officer Foundation Course (10 weeks) - educational and academic modules at BRNC + 4 week induction course at HMS Collingwood - learn about navigation and small ship handling including introduction to digital navigation charts" but this was on a thread for warfare officers. Does this apply to pilots as well? And are there any other courses that need to be sat before flying grading?

I have looked on loads of threads but can't seem to find anything pilot or observer specific.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
