A Portsmouth-based navy diver was given a surprise long service medal as he trained underwater... [more]

  2. The Order of the Soggy Biscuit?

  3. Was it presented with Deep gratitude, or were the sentiments expressed just shallow. 8O :D

    It deepends really...

  5. Defaulters were even more interesting. Apparently, all charges had to be dropped because the prosecution couldn't make a watertight case.

Do you think we have reached rock bottom with our jokes?

Also if he had of been in the army would he have got it in a tank? 8O

    Old man rant:

    Royal Navy Website

    "Navy Officer Receives Medal Underwater"

He was a PO. If the RN website can't get these things right, then what hope is there for civilian media?

    Shocking!

Bit of a non-story really. I'm sure that loads of Royals have been given theirs in *ahem* Poole.

    ...back to Question Time...

Fair point, but doubtless the standard: "I'm not an Officer...." retort regarding earning a living still applies.

  12. Nah that aint brum, thats out in the wilds, so they either could do it in Stetchford, or maybe Dudley port, or even Sour- pool- whalf.

Or if they want to be exotic....Hollywood or California......not the septic copycat ones, the real ones in Birmingham. :D :D :D
