The sad thing is I know quite a few people who were all very willing to volunteer rather than be sent halfway across the country again when JFH closed down, all told they were ineligible because they had less than 4 years to go, all had between 2 and 4 years left. Oh well, I suppose it makes sense to someone that they have now all claimed removal expenses, RLE, disturbance allowance and get to be a burden to their new unit because with so little time left and a full resettlement allowance it's just not worth training them up into a new role. I wonder if they gave the buffoon in charge a calculator to do his financial balancing act or relied on him/her having a full set of digits?
