How does anyone in London get an allotment?

The US Presidential inauguration - wall to wall coverage on UK TV News - WHY? Who actually gives a feck about it?

Unless it is for the inevitable fisticuffs, both literally and metaphorically.

25,000 armed troops and police and any number of armed far right and far left groups in the city. What could possibly go wrong? It could be a case of 'light the blue touch paper and stand well back'. I fear for the innocents who would be caught up in it.

Some of these areas have been turned into allotments that can be rented, directly or indirectly, from the council. Similar areas exist in most other London Boroughs outside Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster and the City. Tower Hamlets even has a City Farm (near St Dunstan-in-the-East, the Merchant Navy Church).

I noticed social distancing fell apart, Biden and Bill Clinton managed to grope a few women, masks were off......

..... his name escapes me but 1 president only lasted 30odd days after inauguration.... then died because he caught ‘a chill’ at the ceremony...

Looking at the state of Biden yesterday I thought he’d be more careful...
